Why submit your case?

Supporting case authors is one of ecch's most important activities. ecch welcomes cases on all areas of business, management and government from organisations and individual authors worldwide and is committed to supporting the development and distribution of new cases.

Publicity

Submission to ecch makes teachers, researchers and businesses worldwide aware of your materials. Details and an abstract will be included in the on-line ecch catalogue. Authorised users will be able to view an on-line inspection copy of your case and we will undertake worldwide distribution of your teaching materials.

Details of your case will also be included in our monthly e-mail update service, which goes to over 26,000 subscribers worldwide. There are also opportunities to have your case featured on the ecch website.

Royalties

Organisations that are members of ecch receive royalties on sales of multiple copies of cases authored by their staff or affiliates. ecch also pays royalties on sales of teaching notes, supplementary materials, CD-ROMs and DVDs. Inspection copies are not eligible for a royalty payment. More information on ecch membership

Payments

ecch sends the membership representative a royalty statement by the end of June each year. Payment is made direct to the bank account of the organisation at which the case was written on provision of appropriate bank details.

Payment will be made if the sum is £100 or more. Smaller totals are carried forward to subsequent years and payment made at the end of the year in which the minimum figure has been reached. If authors believe they have any pecuniary interest in the royalties paid, they should take up the matter with the organisation to which the royalties have been paid.

Statements are issued both to the case author and to the employing organisation. It is important therefore that authors ensure that ecch has their current address details.
